Hezbollah director Mohammed Afif al-Naboulsi was killed on Sunday by an Jewish attack in Beirut. He claimed that the attack targeted the company of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in the Syrian capital, and that Hezbollah had confirmed his death.
A minute hit in the same place hit a computer store, killing two people and injuring 22, according to Lebanon’s health department. Earlier, Israeli weapons struck Beirut’s southeastern cities, a Hezbollah redoubt, following departure instructions.
The strike that killed Afif, nevertheless, was not preceded by an evacuation warning. Since the Israeli-Hezbollah conflict broke out in September, Afif had gained notoriety.
In another attack, four people were killed, and 14, including two babies, were injured in northern Beirut. Witness Suheil Halabi described the explosion, followed by gunshot and cries.
These advances coincided with ongoing debate about a US-proposed peace in Lebanon. Felipe Al Sayegh, a member of the Lebanoni parliament, said the Israeli behavior demonstrated Israel’s willingness to negotiate while boosting its assaults on safer areas.
According to Kamal Adwan Hospital Director Hosam Abu Safiya, who reported more accidents and potential mishaps, an Israeli attack in Beit Lahiya in Gaza left at least 30 people dead. The Israeli government confirmed attacks on “terrorist goals” in Beit Lahiya, while removal efforts from the “active battle zone” were afoot.
Two Jewish soldiers were killed in northeastern Gaza as a result of more Israeli airstrikes in the area.
The issue, ignited by Hamas’s October 7 assault on Israel, has resulted in thousands of deaths and common movement.
