Robert Bork really, really wanted to be remembered as a wonderful judge. And in 1987, he achieved his professional heights by appointing him to the Supreme Court in the place of Justice Lewis Powell. He was therefore near! Alas, after his bitter, divisive ( and ultimately unsuccessful ) confirmation hearing, he became known for something else:

/bôrk / (verb ):  , To obstruct or oppose someone, particularly a candidate for public office by systematically defaming or vilifying them. ” We has Bork that man”! said the Democrat.
It’s unusual for a person’s name to become given the anthimeria care. ( South Park’s” Faith Hilling” episode notwithstanding. ) It’s a little more popular in the world of corporate companies, where we Hoover-up data after Googling the truth, and therefore we send a Jump to our friends.
But it surely happens. Nouns were honored as nouns as well: they were not actually verbs. ( Thank goodness their names were n’t changed, as we would n’t be dumping John Hancock in the trash after he was removed )
Of course, the all-time Best anthimeria victim was certainly Ancient Emperor Moctezuma II, a. k. a. Montezuma— who went from the King of Kings of the New World to the nickname for tourist’s diarrhea. I’m 99 % sure that’s not how he expected to be remembered.
Now I propose a new phrase to get Borkified:
/bidenization/ (verb ): When an elderly person is visibly enfeebled, weak, and diminished, especially when he delusionally insists he’s” sharp as a tack”. ” Mike Tyson’s bidenization was heartbreaking to watch.” said a Netflix contributor.
And this brings us to Jerry Jones, the landlord, public manager, pot-stirrer, company ambassador, and check-signer of America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones, a self-made businessman, is 82 years older. Since joining the NFL in the late 1980s, he’s constantly been one of the most forward-thinking thinkers in sporting pleasure. From pioneer brand privileges, nontraditional TV deals, venue marketing, and more, he’s individually responsible for generating billions of dollars in new income.

But he’s also 82 years older.
Not all ages likewise. Most of us are aware of those who are also in their 40s or 50s, but many others have experienced deterioration and aging. On the other end of the spectrum, Donald Trump will eat Big Macs and attend UFC conflicts until the early hours of the morning. On the other conclusion, there’s Joe Biden, who now looks like a sack of body clinging to a broom handle.
However, not everyone is open to sharing their cognitive decline, which is largely accompanied by less wisdom and a decline in social cues. Joe Biden, hello, he’s also saying he can control a fourth term in the White House! If we just went by Biden’s claims, the Democrats would’ve letting him keep his candidacy.
But the exterior clues were evidently, openly visible. After his head collapsed during the June 27 national debate, Biden’s say that he’s” strong as a tack”! was exposed as bulls **t.
This is the time Jerry Jones was exposed, to.
He’s always had an unusual language (” Glory gap”! ” War papa”! ” Circumcising the mosquito“! and a predilection for heterodoxy. It’s a little difficult to tell when individuals like that start to lose their heads.
Al Davis, the now-deceased user of the Oakland Los Angeles Oakland Las Vegas Raiders, was another sport outlaw. Davis cherished giving the club the upper hand, and he fervently believed that he was smarter than everyone else. And for a long time, he definitely was. The Raiders were regarded as football’s best staff.  ,

But by the time he was a child, the match was already over. When he died in 2011 at age 82 ( coincidentally, the same age Jerry Jones is today ), his team was an absolute mess. The Raiders became the first NFL team to drop 11 or more activities in seven straight seasons in Davis ‘ last decade as head coach.
Of course, Al Davis insisted he was still as strong as a move, too.
Jerry Jones ‘ mental abilities are starting to decline in a similar way. Less than a month ago, he threatened to fire radio guests who were n’t his people. He’s made “baffling” industries. By claiming to “go all in,” but not even going all in on the curtains, he has antagonized the whole Cowboys popularity!
His staff is then 3-7. They’ve lost their last three matches by 90 items.
This is why” America’s Team” has so many empty seats at its games.
Stephen A. Smith is one of America’s most important activities observers. ( He’s also a Philadelphia Eagles fan, but nobody’s perfect. ) On more than one occasion, Smith has interviewed Jerry Jones immediately, spending time with him on cameras and behind the scenes. Recently, he raised the Jones-Biden comparison explicitly, asking aloud why Jones ‘ family members wo n’t intervene:
Stephen A. Smith” I’m getting really really worried about Jerry Jones… Before Joe Biden resisted running for reelection, I’m thinking about him. For crying out loud, I wonder where Jerry’s community members are since he is one quarter older than Joe Biden. photograph. twitter.com/8YMpffSMX8— Awful Announcing ( @awfulannouncing ) November 19, 2024

Cynically, we know EXACTLY why Jerry’s family members wo n’t step in: You’d be out of your flippin ‘ mind to antagonize a temperamental, ego-obsessed 82-year-old billionaire! Screw that! It’s smarter to enjoy the long sport, wait for him to death in a few years, and gather your full , legacy.  ,
After the period ends, Jerry Jones will almost certainly flames the player’s head coach, the besieged and confused Mike McCarthy. He’ll probably flame most of the instructors, too. But he wo n’t fire the team’s general manager: himself.
And that’s been the concern all together. The Cowboys made 16 of the 30 Bluetooth Championship game appearances before Super Bowl I and Super Bowl XXX. Since next?
Nada. Zero. Zilch.
It’s the Bidenization of the Dallas Cowboys.
