Angela Merkel, the former US president, revealed in her upcoming memoir that she sought Pope Francis ‘ guidance in relation to the Paris climate agreement.

In the memoir, Merkel reveals her insights into Putin’s character, describing him as someone who “did n’t want to be disrespected, ready to lash out at all times”. She recounts a conversation where Putin, discussing Ukraine’s potential NATO membership, told her:” You wo n’t always be Chancellor, and then they’ll join NATO… And I want to prevent that”.
Merkel implies Putin timed the 2022 war with her departure from business, highlighting his proper technique. She even criticizes some Central and Eastern European leaders for wishing Russia had just vanish, stating:” They seem to want the country to just vanish, to no exist. I could n’t blame them… But Russia, strongly nuclear military, did exist”.
On November 26th, former US president Barack Obama may attend a press conference with Merkel.
