Vivek Ramaswamy, who will co-lead Donald Trump‘s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with billionaire Elon Musk announced that he will be pausing his own weekly podcast to launch a new show with Elon called “DOGEcast,” in which they will give the nation “regular updates on their cost-cutting”.

Writing in a mutual op-ed in Wall Street Journal, the two said that the district’s main goal is to reduce the size and scope of the federal government. Through important regulatory reductions and workforce reductions, Musk and Ramaswamy intend to accomplish this.

Musk and Ramaswamy criticized the amount of “rules and rules” created by appointed officials, calling it “antidemocratic”. They think DOGE, which they described as a “lean group of small-government christians,” will help restore elected officials ‘ power and lessen the impact of a career bureaucrat.
In a recent Wall Street Journal part, Musk announced strategies to target federal spending, calling administration an “existential danger” to US politics. The businessman specifically cited planned parenthood and common broadcasting as examples of his budget cuts.
He also stated that he wanted to work with a colleague businessperson and former presidential candidate to employ operational and budgetary reductions. The pair thinks that these actions will address administrative overreach, which they see.
