A 30-year-old homeless man from Florida was detained and charged by the FBI for reportedly planning to bomb the New York Stock Exchange before Thanksgiving.
Harun Abdul-Malik Yener, of Coral Gables, Fla., was recorded telling an undercover representative that he felt “like Bin Laden”, a guide to Osama bin Laden, the original al-Qaeda head and the genius of the 9/11 problems, according to federal authorities.

According to an FBI petition filed on November 20, the poor think managed to arrive in New York from Florida with sufficient resources to build an incendiary device to bomb Wall Street’s NYSE.
Yener was accused of using an incendiary to damage or kill a building used for interstate commerce.
According to court documents, Yener’s involvement with federal law enforcement began in February when an agent reported to the FBI that he was keeping bomb-making supplies locked up in an opened backup unit and that he had expressed interest in joining an anti-government militia.  ,
Yener had been researching online how to make a weapon since 2017, according to authorities. He reportedly conducted numerous online searches and shared at least ten video showing how to make triggers out of house objects, as well as other videos showing how to create triggers using traps and explosives.
While executing a search warrant, Federal officials discovered bomb-making pictures, many pieces with settings, electrical circuit board, and other technology belonging to the suspect in their research of the backup service.

Yaner met with at least three undercover federal agents with access to commercial-grade munitions and requested assistance in creating a bomb strong enough to blow off doors but that “anything there will be killed” According to the FBI oath, he requested photos and materials to assist him in finding the right locations at the share exchange because he believed it would be a well-known specific whose destruction would get him public support.

Yener more explained to the FBI agents that he had even thought about joining ISIS in 2015 but that he had given the impression that” ISIS may ultimately not succeed in achieving their goals.”
According to the problem, he admitted to disclosing the motivations behind his attack and making a number of audio recordings that were sent to NBC News to promote his organized bombing.
Yener may remain in custody until his prosecution because he has been assigned to a Southern District of Florida.
