Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, criticized the United States for escalating tensions, citing the country’s highest levels of radioactive danger. Speaking at a military museum in Pyongyang, Kim described Washington’s activities as “aggressive and angry” plans. His previous discussions with the US demonstrated that the country was uninterested in peaceful interaction.
According to state media Efforts, Kim claimed,” Nowhere on the Korean Peninsula has the warring parties ever encountered such a harmful and acute confrontation as it might turn into the most dangerous nuclear war.”
Kim’s comments come as North Korea‘s nuclear army is growing. Advanced intercontinental ballistic missiles that could strike the US mainland were on display at the show. Kim vowed to create “ultra-modern” ammunition, calling it the only way to ensure the country’s protection.
Kim also cited Donald Trump’s failure to hold discussions with him during his first year in office. The two leaders held three conferences in 2018 and 2019, including ones in Singapore and Hanoi, but agreements broke down due to disagreements over denuclearization and sanctions relief.
Kim stated,” We have now reached the conclusion that we can go as far as we can in our negotiations with the United States.” The supreme leader continued,” We can never change, but what we can inferred from the results is not the superpower’s determination to coexist, but rather its complete stance of power and extreme and unfriendly policy toward us.”
Kim also claimed that Kim’s accusations of increasing military force come from the US’s use of aircraft and aircraft providers in conjunction with its allies. He attributed the US’s push toward tensions to” the worst period in story” and called the Asian Peninsula” the country’s biggest hotspot.”
South Korea and Japan are both at risk from North Korea’s projectile program. According to experts, Kim’s nuclear interests are intended to stifle Washington’s recognition of North Korea as a nuclear power and secure financial benefits.
