OPINION: President Donald Trump may repress funding of political analysis that advances a leftist social agenda in the National Institutes of Health and other government institutions.
In his second term, President Donald Trump will have the chance to clean up the National Institutes of Health and other supposedly science-based government organizations.
The NIH has invested millions of dollars in intellectual experiments while conducting research over the years. This includes a” transgender voice training” app, a study on how to reach gender-confused kids without their parents ‘ knowledge, and “improv]ing ] communication” between parents and their homosexual sons.
Additionally, it has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in studies that claim to reference prejudice to health.
Additionally, the studies have abandoned the fundamentals of scientific reasoning; in fact, one new grant sought to “generate evidence” to support mental bias training based on the doubtful claims that racism is alter a person’s brain.
Trump’s unorthodox choice of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is one of the good indicators of his thinking about science and health plan.
According to speculations, he may be considering two COVID truthtellers for significant scientific roles as of Thursday. The 45th and 47th leader is officially considering Marty Makary, a sceptical of common lockdowns, to guide the Food and Drug Administration. Also, Stanford University’s Jay Bhattacharya is a rumored get to direct the NIH.
Both are well-known academics who faced criticism from the public health creation for their incisive criticisms of the devastating COVID lockdowns. President Joe Biden’s team actually ordered social media companies to judge Bhattacharya.
Due to the virus, the American people is clearly skeptical of the medical establishment. If you were rioting in the street in support of George Floyd through the standardized medical procedure known as hopeful thinking, COVID did not affect you.
Trump’s partnership with RFK Jr. on a commitment to” Create America Healthy Again” is one of the reasons he won. That starts with restoring confidence in academic research and ensuring that taxpayer dollars are being used to study health issues like heart attacks, diet, and how to prevent cancers.
The government should n’t be funding research on how to approach gay sons or how to approach parents when a 9-year-old girl believes she’s a boy.
That is cruel – and not technology. The government should be held accountable for the scientific actions the public health formation took to harm the nation.
