Hayley Harrison, a former staffer to the first lady, will function as Melania Trump‘s chief of staff.
Trump’s office stated in a statement on social media that Harrison has “maintained an important role and excellent management on the First Lady’s group over the past seven years.”
” She has a solid understanding of White House activities, and as Chief of Staff, Mrs. Harrison may oversee and manage the East Wing’s group while effectively liaising with various parts of government”, The speech read.

This is Trump’s first use in her future department since President-elect Donald Trump’s win two weeks ago.

Melania’s past chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, spoke at the Democratic National Convention this year and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for leader. Grisham resigned from her position on the evening of Jan. 6, 2021, after a pro-Trump mob stormed the U. S. Capitol. Eventually, she later revealed during her evidence to the Jan. 6 Committee that she had quit because of Trump and his advisers ‘ actions that morning.  ,
