Lindsay Lohan and Lacey Chabert reprised their” Mean Girls” roles in a fetch recreation of one of the , film’s most iconic scenes.
The stars stepped back into the roles of Cady Heron ( Lohan ) and Gretchen Weiners ( Chabert ) on” Watch What Happens Live” Wednesday night, albeit without the requisite pink attire.
New York native Lohan, 38, and Chabert revisited the restaurant scene in which Cady learns about the Polymers ‘ “rules of feminism”, with” WWHL” number Andy Cohen taking on Rachel McAdams ‘ Regina George.
Both Lohan and Amanda Seyfried, the latter of whom starred as other Plastics part Karen Smith in the original 2004 movie, recently told , Interview Magazine , that they hoped to one day , reprise their roles.
” I would shoot just to do one month, all of us playing our individual roles on’ Mean Girls’ on Broadway”, said Oscar nomination Seyfried. That may “be actually fun,” Lohan said.
Lohan, Chabert and Seyfried made some version of that a real last year, when they and many” Mean Women” co-stars played their original functions in , multiple advertisements as part of Walmart’s 2023 Black Friday plan.
Lohan even made a cameo , earlier this year in the ,” Mean Girls” large screen adaptation , of Tina Fey’s Broadway music inspired by the movie.
