More than 2,500 Indian Sikh travellers who were present for the celebration on Saturday flew to their homes in Pakistan on Saturday, and Pakistan has issued a commemorative coin to honor Guru Nanak’s 555th delivery anniversary. The 555th baby commemoration ceremonies began last week at the Gurdwara Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib, where the Sikh religion’s leader was born, on November 14.
Sikh travelers from all over the globe, including from India, participated in the religious rites at the congregation, about 100-odd miles from below.
On one side of the special commemorative coin worth PKR 55, the words” 555th Day Celebrations” and “SRI GURU NANAK DEV JI 1469-2024″ are written, between,”.
” On the reverse side, there is the cross sky and five-pointed sun facing north-west in a rising place in the centre. Two wheat waters with hands curved upwards are located below the crescent, and the phrase” Islami Jamhuria Pakistan” is written in Urdu ( Islamic Republic of Pakistan ) along the edge on the top.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the penny— released on Friday– consists of 79 per share copper, 20 per cent metal and 1 per share metal, steps 30mm in diameter and weighs 13.5 gr.
The State Bank of Pakistan’s trade counters will have this commemorative coin, the bank announced.
On Saturday, Saifullah Khokhar, the second Sikh minister of Punjab, the first Sikh secretary, and the head of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, along with More Secretary Shrines of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Saifullah Khokhar, said farewell to the Indian Sikh travelers at the Wagah Border.
Presents were presented to the customers who left.
” We are carrying wonderful memories of Guru’s property back to our country. Media frequently portrays a distorted picture of Pakistan, but the reality is quite unique. The people around are loving and welcoming”, remarked a Sikh team president Gurmeet Singh.
Arora, who spoke at the time, claimed that Pakistan’s spiritual minority are completely free and secure. ” All services, including education and employment, are equally available to everyone”, he added.
Pakistan had issued a similar coin on the situation of Guru Nanak’s 550th baby celebration.
