Former US national security director John Bolton has criticised Sebastian Gorka, President-elect Donald Trump‘s option for a cybersecurity place, calling him a” fraudulent man” and questioning his skills. Gorka was appointed president’s deputy assistant and head of terrorism after taking the position.
In an interview with CNN, Bolton said,” Julian Gorka is a con person.

I would n’t have him in any US government”. Gorka’s visit, he claimed, could hinder terrorism work.
” Happily, it’s not the highest place he had been mentioned for. But I do n’t think it bodes well for counterterrorism efforts when the]National Security Council’s ] senior director is someone like that”, Bolton added.
Bolton also suggested an investigation into Gorka’s academic background by FBI Director, more posing questions about his qualifications. He claimed that Gorka’s interview was motivated more by merit than loyalty to Trump.
He needs an in-depth FBI investigation into his academic claims and other matters. He is a perfect illustration of someone who owes Donald Trump solely his place, Bolton said.
Bolton also criticized Trump’s management style, claiming that he prioritizes blind loyalty over impartial judgment. ” He does n’t display loyalty. He displays devotion. And that’s what Trump wants”, Bolton remarked. ” He does n’t want Gorka’s opinions. He wants Gorka to state,’ Yes, sir.’ And, despite what Trump says, I have no doubt that’s what will actually occur.
This is not the first day Bolton has publicly criticized Trump’s meetings. Prior to this, he had questions about Matt Gaetz’s credentials and Tulsi Gabbard‘s for solicitor general.
