A couple in Connecticut, Connecticut, is accused of stealing nearly$ 1 million worth of Lululemon clothing over the course of two months. Jadion Richards, 44, and Akwele Lawes-Richards, 45, reportedly stole from businesses in many states, including Minnesota, Utah, Colorado, New York, and Connecticut.
Lululemon Athletica is a Canadian-American company specializing in sporty clothes for workouts, sportswear, and travel.

According to a report from the New York Post, the incidents took place between September and November 2024 in Lululemon businesses.
After the couple triggered a safety concern while leaving a Woodbury, Minnesota store, Lululemon investigators realized a substantial loss.
On November 14, the pair was detained.
Upon their imprisonment, officials discovered credit cards, debit cards, and a Marriott resort area code. Inside the motel room, authorities found 12 backpacks, three of which contained around$ 50, 000 worth of Lululemon items. Lululemon prosecutors allege the few stole at least 45 products worth$ 5,000 from different stores the day before, despite Richards ‘ claim that store personnel had racial profiling.
