Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, said on Monday that officials of Israel may receive death sentences more than arrest permits.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his previous defense captain, and Hamas chief Ibrahim Al-Masri were all set to be arrested by the International Criminal Court on Thursday, according to Khamenei’s speech.

” They issued an arrest warrant, that’s not enough… Death statement must be issued for these criminal frontrunners”, Khamenei said, addressing the Jewish management.
In response to the ICC judges ‘ findings, they concluded that there were legitimate grounds to believe that Yoav Gallant and Netanyahu had committed crimes against civilians in Gaza, including murder, oppression, and using hunger as a weapon of war.
Residents of Gaza expressed hope that the decision would end the violence and bring about the release of war crimes, while Israel criticized the decision and called it disgusting and immoral.
Israel denies using force against Gaza and continues to reject the Hague-based judge’s power.
The charges against Hamas head Ibrahim Al-Masri include rape and hostage-taking allegations in addition to the charges against him in relation to the massive killings that occurred on October 7, 2023 during the Israeli-led occupation of the Palestinian territory.
Israel claims to have eliminated Masri, also known as Mohammed Deif, in a July attack, though Hamas has no confirmed or denied this knowledge.
