Gas prices started falling repeatedly in May 2024 after another spike in 2023, and they have since continued to do so every month.
However, despite decades of lower oil prices, they are still higher now than they were when President-elect Donald Trump was in business between January 2017 and January 2021. It remains to be seen what will happen to fuel prices during Trump’s subsequent word, with his scheduled for election on January 20, 2025.
