President-elect Donald Trump’s endorsement standing jumped six factors, one of his all-time peaks while outgoing leader Joe Biden’s scores dropped to a four-year reduced, according to a new poll. After the election, according to a poll conducted by Emerson College, Trump received a 54 % approval rating while Biden received a 36 %.
Just before the election, Trump’s endorsement standing was 48 per share. The poll noted that Trump’s present rating includes more positive views from men (61 per cent ) compared to women ( 48 per cent ).

” Trump’s strongest age group is among citizens 40 to 59, with 60 per cent viewing him warmly, compared to 48 per cent among those over 70. Importantly, his preference has risen among younger citizens, with 55 per share of those under 30 expressing a positive mind”.
Trump hit his lowest acceptance standing after the 2020 election.
When asked about their reaction to the 2024 election outcome, 46 % of voters were surprised, compared to 54 % who were not.
” There is a sharp difference in reaction to the election results based on who voters supported: 67 % of Harris voters were surprised by the results, while 71 % of Trump voters were not surprised by his victory”, Kimball explained.
There has been relatively limited voting of Trump’s favorabilities rankings in the midst of the Nov. 5 vote. Another poll from the Economist/YouGov gauged it at 50 % favorable to 49 % unfavorable.
Overall, Trump is averaging 45.5 % favorable to 51.4 % unfavorable, according to the latest RealClearPolitics aggregate of polling, all of which, except Emerson and the Economist, were taken prior to the election.
According to the CBS News/YouGov study, Trump’s transition has 59 per cent approving to 41 per share disparaging.

JD Vance topped the Emerson College poll, which polled a hypothetical 2028 candidate, with 34 %, Vivek Ramaswamy 31 %, Kennedy Jr. 31 %, and Nikki Haley tied for 2 percent, according to the Emerson College poll.
Kamala Harris leads the Democratic party with 37 %, followed by Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, with Pete Buttigieg, the transportation secretary, and Gov. of Pennsylvania, with a lead vote of 7 %. Michigan Governor Josh Shapiro Gretchen Whitmer and herself were tied at only 3 %.
