Zuckerberg did not endorse Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris in the national vote, but he did praise the president-elect after the death effort against him, calling his raised-fist approach “badass. ”
Meta confirmed the appointment on Wednesday evening, saying, “It’s an important day for the future of American Innovation. Mark was thankful for the invitation to join President Trump for breakfast and the opportunity to meet with members of his team about the approaching Administration. ”
While he did n’t accept Trump, the Meta CEO did cheer him on his poll success along with several other business leaders such as Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. Zuckerberg has had a contested marriage at periods with Musk, who has been the closest to Trump of any of them. They have a social internet conflict between Zuckerberg’s Facebook and Musk’s X.
“Congratulations to President Trump on a decisive defeat. We have wonderful options ahead of us as a nation, ” he wrote in a Threads publish the day after the vote. “Looking forth to working with you and your leadership. ”
His earlier reward of Trump was the closest Zuckerberg came to endorsing either member.

“On a personalized note, seeing Donald Trump get up after getting shot in the face and pumps his fist in the air with the British flag is one of the most cool stuff I’ve ever seen in my career, ” Zuckerberg said.
His compliments of Trump came even as the president-elect recently threatened to jail him if he was elected.
