A , Connecticut , gentleman was sentenced to serve 15 years in prison earlier this month for sexually assaulting a juvenile, court records show.
Frank Scott Fomo, 42, was found guilty on , July 29 , of first-degree sexual assault, threat of injury/illegal physical contact with a small under the age of 13, and risk of injury to a baby, according to court records.
Court records indicate he was sentenced , Nov. 18 , at state , Superior Court , in , Waterbury.
For the first-degree sexual assault conviction, Fomo was sentenced to 25 years in prison, suspended after 10 times served, followed by 20 years of probation. A sentence of 10 years in prison, suspended after fiver years served, for the risk of injury/illegal physical contact with a small under the age of 13 offense, did run continuously, for a full term of imprisonment of 15 years.
However, a word of five times for the risk of damage to a kid count may be served continuously, records show.
State data show Fear was being held at , MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution , in , Suffield , and has a maximum transfer time of , Nov. 17, 2039.
Waterbury , officers immediately charged Fomo in , April 2019 , in connection with an analysis that began the fortnight before. On , March 27, 2019, police received a complaint from the state , Department of Children and Families , through an employee at St. Vincent ‘s , Behavioral Health , reporting that a juvenile girl disclosed she had been sexually abused by Fomo from 2016 to 2018, according to his arrest warrant.
A people connected to the adolescent said she “was n’t surprised” by the juvenile’s reporting and said Fomo had told her he had fantasies involving the small, the warrant states.
During a forensic exam in , April 2019, the woman told the interviewer that Fomo “molested” her and would do this when someone was no home, according to the subpoena.
Even though the woman’s conviction indicates she was under the age of 13, particulars of her time when the situations occurred were removed from the permit.
The second sexual abuse occurred in , Waterbury, the woman told a criminal interviewer. The girl said at the time, she did n’t believe she had hit puberty yet, according to the warrant.
According to the subpoena, the child relates a time when Fomo sexually assaulted her after telling her to get into sleep with him. When he was done, he told her to get ready for college. According to the subpoena, the woman claimed that she had a panic attack while attending school and that she was in pain from the incident.
According to the police’s written permit, the child described several other instances where Fomo sexually assaulted her and gave details about the places and furnishings where the incidents took place.
On at least one occasion, Fomo told the girl,” ‘ Do n’t tell]redacted ] ‘ about what he would do to her”, according to the warrant. According to the warrant, the woman claimed Fomo was in the military and that she carried a pistol and that she believed she would take him if she told him.
The woman told the criminal recruiter that the last moment Fomo sexually assaulted her was in , November 2018 , in , Willimantic , where he lived, according to the subpoena. The child estimated he sexually assaulted her 20 days at his house in , Willimantic, according to the subpoena.
Authorities contacted Fomo, who agreed to meet with prosecutors on , April 12, 2019, though he never showed up, authorities wrote in the warrant.
Waterbury , officers initially charged Fomo with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse, three counts of danger of injury/impairing the morals of a small and three counts of danger of injury/illegal physical contact with a small under the age of 13, the warrant states.
