Ivanka Trump who has been alongside her father Donald Trump for nearly two decades, has decided to withdraw from politics. Ivanka has been a key figure in Trump’s professional life and political ventures, from designing his hotels during his real estate days to advising him during his presidency.
Nevertheless, in January 2021, she left Washington, DC, and stepped aside from her father’s hire, marking the first time since she was 23 years old that she forged her own way.
Ivanka made the decision to leave politics in 2022, giving her kids and personal life in Miami first. Sources confirmed that even after Donald Trump’s 2024 election win, her position remains intact.
” I love my father quite little. This time around, I’m making a decision to promote my young kids and the private life we are leading as a home. In a social media post, she continued,” I do not intend to be involved in politics.”
Ivanka was subject to a lot of attention while serving in the White House, particularly when it came to issues like paid family leave and criminal justice reform.
Ivanka has chosen to request her father freely and out of the public eye despite keeping her close to him. Her husband, Jared Kushner, is expected to provide advice on Middle Eastern issues, but he has also declined to take a proper position in the coming administration. Nevertheless, his father, Charles Kushner, has been nominated as the US embassy to France.
Ivanka has faced private difficulties for the past four decades. Her family, Ivana Trump, passed away unexpectedly in 2022, and she has been caring for her 98-year-old mother. Additionally, Jarred Kushner underwent two thyroid cancer therapies, which gave them even more weight in making a prioritized home.
Ivanka added that politics is a very negative industry to work in because “it’s a really dark world. There’s a lot of shadow, a lot of anger, and it’s just really at odds with what feels good for me as a mortal being”.
She farther told The Lex Fridman Podcast,” And you know, it’s a really tough business. But for me and my household, it feels right to not participate”.
According to her buddies, she is glad with her choice to move away from politics as she is prioritizing her home, attempting to find some protection, and pursuing new passions, according to CNN.
” Her kids are in a special area where they’re all important ages, they’re tweens and teens, and it’s little – it’s really simple. She loves being with her kids, and she’s found a lot of peace and happiness in her personal life”, said Maggie Cordish, a lifelong companion.
Trump has tapped into a wide-ranging set of new habits. Her social media posts are peppered with pictures of her and her home agriculture, practicing jiu-jitsu at the Valente Brothers ‘ theater, learning to surf at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch, playing polo on horseback, driving motocross bikes and playing table games.
Ivanka and Jared have resumed their charitable work, including creating a posh Albanian area.
Ivanka told Fridman,” It’s wonderful to take all of this skill up, and for me to be able to perform around and flex my real estate muscles once more and have some fun with it.”
Ivanka continues to be active on social media, posting her glossy images and volunteer work.
Ivanka’s withdrawal from politics represents a significant change for a prominent member of the Trump family. She continues to design her reputation away from the public eye as she prioritizes family and community.
