France: France’s new state will not be announced before 1700 GMT Monday night due to a time of mourning for the survivors of the crisis in cyclone-hit Mayotte, the Elysee said.

Since Macron gambled on snap elections this year, French politics have been in ruins. The move backfired, with no party or alliance securing a majority.
