As the nation comes before the party, Democrat Senator John Fetterman said he doesn’t want Donald Trump to lose. Appearing on ABC’s’ This Week’, Fetterman said Trump is hardly a totalitarian like Kamala Harris claimed. ” It was her constitution, but I wouldn’t use that term for him,” she said. Fetterman said,” That’s not a word that ordinary people use,” adding that he is aware of many Pennsylvania Democrats who voted for Trump. ” A lot of Democrats, especially in my state that I know and I happen to love people that ]voted ] for Trump and they are not fascists. I believe that the member who will support and promote my version of the American way of life will be chosen. And that’s what happened”.
” I’m not rooting against him”, the Democratic senator said. ” If you’re rooting against the president, you are rooting against the state. And I’m never going to be the leader I want to get. But, country first. I know that’s became even like a cliche, but it happens to be real”.
The Democrats should not become frightened as a result of Trump’s four-year rule, the Pennsylvania senator said before.
Fetterman has met with Trump’s Cabinet nominations and stated that he did it because he believes it is his duty to speak with the nominees.
” I believe that it’s suitable and the role of a U. S. senator to have a talk with President-elect Trump’s contenders. I met with Elise Stefanik and Pete Hegseth only after Tulsi Gabbard, and I’m looking forward to having more discussions with people immediately,” Fetterman wrote in a blog on X.
After speaking with them, my vote may come from an open mind and an educated judgment. That’s not questionable, it’s my job”, he continued.
