According to his director, former US President Bill Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington on Monday evening for testing and assessment.
Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, Angel Urena, released a speech on social media platform X, saying the 78-year-old was hospitalised “afternoon for tests and study”. But, Urena mentioned that Clinton is in” good nature” and appreciated the treatment at the doctor.
The deputy chief of staff continued,” He continues to be in excellent spirits and greatly appreciates the excellent care he is receiving.”
Clinton is expected house by Christmas, Urena told CNN, adding,” The leader is good”.
Clinton served two terms as president, from 1993 to 2001. He campaigned for vice president Kamala Harris ‘ presidential campaign this summer and spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Past health concerns
Clinton’s health concerns have been in the past. In 2004, he had triple bypass operation. He underwent two implants in a coronary arteries in 2010 and underwent surgery for a partially collapsed heart in 2005. Following these events, Clinton switched to a largely vegan eating, which helped her lose weight and improve her health.
Most lately, in 2021, he spent six weeks in a California doctor for a non-COVID-related infections that spread to his brain. Clinton’s advisor claimed the former president had been treated for a urinary infections that had entered his system. The secretary claimed that although he was admitted to an intensive care unit, he didn’t need any aggressive treatment.
