Santa Claus left the North Pole at around 4am ET, and Santa and his eight reindeer will arrive in the US between 9pm ET and midnight, according to the live tracking of the North American Aerospace Defense Command ( Norad ). Norad’s live recording of Santa goes up times and every Christmas night, Norad provides real-time monitoring of Santa’s horse.
A typo in a 1955m department store advertisements caused a child to visit a Colorado military command center in 1955m and request to speak to Santa. The visit was picked up by Air Force Colonel Harry Shoup, who played Santa Claus. He had to assign an agent to handle all the calls for Santa as more people came in. Therefore Norad made the decision to begin the Santa’s journey-living tradition.
Each month, at least 100, 000 children call into the company to inquire about Santa’s area. Thousands more pursue online – in nine cultures– as St Nick swoops along the earth’s lines, the Independent reported.
What way does Santa get?
Santa moves westward from the Pacific Ocean’s International Date Line. Santa visits the South Pacific initially, next New Zealand and Australia. From that, he travels across Asia starting with Japan. Finally he goes to Africa and then to Western Europe, Canada, the United States, Mexico and Central and South America. But the way may be affected by weather, according to Norad.
Just Santa knows his course
” NORAD tracks Santa, but merely Santa knows his route”, the military group’s website state,” which means we don’t identify where and when he will appear at your home. We do, however, know from history that it appears he arrives just when children are sleep! In most states, it seems Santa arrives between 9: 00 p. m. and evening on December 24th. If kids are still alive when Santa arrives, he moves on to other buildings. He returns afterwards, but only when the kids are asleep”!
