The Biden administration actually withdrawn a controversial proposed law that would have prohibited schools from prohibiting male players from competing on female ‘ squads, in a stunning victory for sanity and children’s activities. The decision, which was made public in the Federal Register, cited overpowering public criticism and persistent legal challenges as major causes of the decision to back down.

The proposed law, which was first proposed in April 2023, reinstated adjustments that Barack Obama made during his last year in business by expanding Title IX safeguards to include “gender identity.” Under Obama’s policy, open schools were required to recognize a child’s self-identified gender identity as their gender under Title IX, granting access to facilities and activities groups based on that personality. Refusal institutions run the risk of losing federal money.
Donald Trump reversed Obama’s plan during his administration, calling it unconstitutional. But, Biden reinstated the Obama-era normal, erasing the difference of biological sex in favor of “gender identity”. Undermining the protections that Title IX was intended to provide for women and girls, this change not only gave biological men access to bursaries reserved for women but also allowed them to use women’s locker rooms, exclusive facilities, and yet single-sex enclosure.

However, Americans met the Biden administration’s changes with furious weight, reflected in the above 150, 000 people comments submitted during the feedback time — many of which voiced criticism.

The Education Department stated in a statement that the Department is aware of the number of pending lawsuits involving Title IX’s application to gender identity in a variety of factual contexts. The Department has decided not to regulate on this matter at this time in light of the comments received and those various pending court cases. Therefore, the Department hereby withdraws the Athletics NPRM and terminates this rulemaking proceeding”.

Despite this victory, now is not the time for complacency. We must remain vigilant against the transgender movement, which seeks to redefine sex and gender according to a radical left-wing ideology that defies logic and reality.
