On Wednesday evening, a tragic incident at a popular business crossing in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City resulted in a remarkable show of courage when bystanders came to the aid of a 9-year-old child and his mom after they were struck by a taxi driver who purportedly had a health emergency.
