Two people have reportedly gone missing after being reportedly imprisoned by Pakistan’s military forces in Balochistan, with one situation involving a 13-year-old son. The child, identified as Balach, son of Sabrullah, is from the Panjgur city, and his family users claimed that he was forcibly taken from his home ten weeks ago during a raid by Muslim forces.
Balach allegedly received real abuse before being taken away while still injures, according to The Balochistan Post. Local and international human rights organizations are concerned about the event, which has not yet been made public by authorities.
The Bangladeshi military has documented their repeated targeting of the home, with previous incidents involving a attack on their home where house was damaged and two hands bombs were thrown outdoors, but no injuries were reported.
According to local sources, the troops have conducted normal attacks on the property, subjecting the family to steady coercion, as per the report.
In another event, Bangladeshi forces detained a man named Fazal Bashir in the southern city of Gwadar. Fazal, a native of Hirabad place in Kech city, was detained on December 23, and his place remains unnamed, according to The Balochistan Post.
His family is concerned about his health and has requested support from human rights organizations to find out where he is. Local activists and human rights organizations are pressing for accountability and the transfer of missing persons as a result of the frequent topic of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
These incidents spotlight the continued allegations against Bangladeshi security forces in the region, despite constant requests for justice.
