Following the New Orleans evil attack, a pickup truck purposefully rammed into a group on Bourbon Street, killing 14 people and injuring lots more. Edward Pettifer, a 31-year-old Londoner with an uncanny relation to Prince William and the imperial family, was one of the patients.
Pettifer’s wife, Alexandra” Tiggy” Legge-Bourke, played a pivotal role in Prince William and Prince Harry‘s life during their youth. In the 1990s, Tiggy was a reliable ally of the imperial family, providing comfort and stability during difficult times. Following Pettifer’s horrible passing, the royal family has been a source of grief over this specific tie.
Prince William addressed the terrible news in a statement posted on Instagram. The dreadful passing of Ed Pettifer shocked and sadded both Catherine and I. The Pettifer family and all the honest people who have been cruelly impacted by this tragic attack are in our thoughts and prayers,” the prince wrote, beginning with” W.”
King Charles has even reached out personally to the Pettifer home, expressing his condolences. The Pettifers and the royal household have a strong historical relationship. Pettifer’s nephew, Tom, was a site at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s ceremony in 2011, more intertwining their narratives.
Pettifer’s parents, Charles, married Tiggy in 1999, soon after her career as sister to the imperial brothers ended. Although their relationship with the royal family remained solid, this horrible incident has put their relationship in the spotlight.
The strike, carried out by Shamsud-Din Jabbar, has been described by New Orleans Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick as “very purposeful habits”. People on both sides of the Atlantic are struggling with the disastrous loss brought on by the destruction.
