Donald Trump’s attorneys, who are currently the president-elect, requested on Monday that a judge reverse this year’s sentencing hearing on the hush money situation because they planned to charm a recent decision that upheld the verdict. His legal crew further stated that they planned to appeal the state’s appeals court to overturn the judge’s decision, which ordered a Friday sentencing hearing.
Last year, Merchan denied Trump’s movement to reject the prosecution and overturn the ruling, despite claims referencing Trump’s immediate return to the White House.
