Donald Trump, the president-elect of the United States, sparked controversy by sharing a chart that appeared to defy the country’s status on social media. This further escalates his continued rhetoric toward the northern neighbor.
This came after he had recently suggested using “economic power” to annex Canada, a declaration that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau harshly condemned.
Trump strongly denied using military power to conquer Canada when reporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida inquired. ” No”, he said, before reiterating his conviction that Canada should be the 51st US position.
