Elon Musk, a it businessman, criticized UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for how the country handled grooming groups on social press on Wednesday, mocking the PM’s evident unwillingness to act.
The image, which has since gone zoonotic, features Starmer apparently denying the need for a murder gang inquiry. It brings up the issue of Pakistani grooming groups in the UK, which have committed many sexual assaults on women and have left many families with little or no justice.
Musk, who has just become vocal about British politics, has condemned the loss of the government to solve these organizations successfully. He instantly criticizes the apparent focus of the UK on putting an end to meme sharing, rather than punishing the real culprits, in the post. He wrote,” Just posting a meme like this could get you sent to prison in Britain ( actually )”, mocking what he sees as the government’s misplaced priorities.
Musk made a second mockery of the UK’s managing of the problem by responding to a Simpsons-themed meme that depicts the government ignoring victims while repressing those who post memes in its place. Vel Knievel responded,” Evel Knievel’s most dangerous prank in 2025 may be going to Britain andamp, posting memes,” referring to the famous American actor, and suggesting that sharing jokes in the UK might pose the same risks as carrying out lethal feats.
Musk has called for Nigel Farage, Reform UK chief, and Keir Starmer’s resignation on numerous occasions. His involvement in British politics has sparked a major backlash, especially since Tommy Robinson, a political activist, was released. Some claim that Musk is “misinformed” about the problems that are affecting the UK, despite the pressure from UK officials to keep him out of their political matters. But, Musk continues to positively use his own system, X, to reject the British government and its activities.
