The U. S. state, especially under Joe Biden, imports crude from various countries that imprisonment, destroy, or otherwise punish Christians for their beliefs.

Eight of the 16 OPEC members, according to International Christian Concern ( ICC), actively target Christians. Two more nations on the list even harbor instances of oppression against Christians. That implies that American cash is aiding Islamic jihadis and dictators who both produce petrol and perpetrate blatant human rights abuses. Under Donald Trump, it’s possible that the United States will once more be power separate and stop relying on OPEC for petrol. Islam has always been a church that expands and survives through violence; in fact, its holy scriptures condone death and murder. That is unchanged from what it was a thousand years ago.

Nigeria is the most dangerous country in the world for Catholics, with over 60, 000 Catholics killed in over a decade of murderous violence, mostly driven by Islamic terrorism. More than tens of thousands of Nigerian Christians have been abducted or displaced. As for terror-sponsoring, Islamic Iran, Christians there can receive the death penalty if they are arbitrarily deemed to have “insult]ed ] the Prophet” Muhammad. The number of Egyptian Christians who were detained for their belief had” quickly increased” as of first 2024. These are just two of OPEC’s part state.

]ICC] Algeria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela allow continued discrimination or harassment of Christ supporters within their territories. Despite this, the United States still imports gas from these countries. In 2022, 11 % of the U. S. gas exports came from Iraq and Saudi Arabia…

The United States continues to deal with many of these countries in addition to importing hydrocarbon from these countries. In 2022, the U. S. imported$ 11.2 million in products from Iran,$ 5.4 billion in goods and services from Nigeria, and$ 24.9 billion in goods and services from Saudi Arabia. In 2023, the U. S. imported$ 3 billion in products from Algeria.

ICC noted that Iraqi militias commit violence against Christians, and Algerian Christians can go to jail or be forced to pay a fine for evangelizing, which is called” shak]ing ] the faith of a Muslim”. Christians are sentenced to five years in prison in the United Arab Emirates for “preaching against Islam,” Venezuela detains non-Muslim spiritual symbols, and is prohibited in Saudi Arabia for public worship, and Libya detains Muslims who convert to Christianity while also outlawing speech that is “offensive to Muslims.”

Qatar and the Democratic Republic of the Congo ( DRC ) are too frequently a scene of jihadi violence against Christians, and Qatar prohibits evangelizing and even deports some Christians who attempted to spread the Gospel in its article.

Of course, the Biden-Harris leadership has instantly funded Hamas-run Gaza and Hezbollah-controlled Lebanon, as well as Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, so it’s not really a wonder that it doesn’t care how some Catholics in these OPEC nations are arrested or killed. However, the approaching Trump-Vance administration should definitely stop importing oil from countries that cruelly impose religious persecution.
