The woman allegedly reported Jian G., a far-right German deputy who is currently under arrest, to another suspected Chinese spy in the European Parliament.
After police launched an investigation into a Chinese man allegedly having taken photos of naval installations along Germany’s Baltic Sea coast in December, China’s foreign ministry accused Germany of “manipulation and smearing.”
