Businessman Bill Briggs will become the next deputy administrator of the small business administration ( SBA ) in his second administration, according to US President-elect Donald Trump‘s announcement on Friday. Bill will work alongside Kelly Loeffler, Trump’s alternative for SBA executive, to help the American dream for small companies, according to the president-elect.
Trump made the announcement on his ‘ Truth Social ‘ system.
Bill Briggs will become the second Deputy Administrator of the US Small Business Administration, he said.
” Bill will work with our second SBA Administrator, Kelly Loeffler, to secure the American Dream for Small Businesses, which are the foundation of our Economy”, Trump added.
Who is Bill Briggs?
Bill Briggs, an American merchant, formerly served as SBA’s acting associate superintendent for the SBA office of capital access during Trump’s first term in office. According to Trump, Briggs oversaw the landmark Paycheck Protection Program during his presidency, which saved numerous companies and millions of jobs.
Bill was a successful business when I first served as the Office of Capital Access’s Acting Associate Administrator. During his career, Bill helped monitor our Historic Paycheck Protection Program that saved many of our Little Companies, and thousands of jobs”, the president-elect said in his blog.
