Imran Khan, a former prime minister of Pakistan and Adiala Jail, demanded a fair research and the creation of a judicial commission to investigate the assault on November 26 and May 9. During a meeting at the prison, he gave this desire to professionals and the media.
Regarding ongoing discussions in the country, Khan expressed suspicion, stating,” The administration’s non-serious attitude towards agreements is evident from the fact that I haven’t even been allowed to meet with my negotiation commission however. The negotiations appear to be only a waste of time so that the public’s reaction to the massacre of November 26 in Islamabad fades.
Khan demanded an independent court to look into the situations, especially the November 26 incident. On November 26, quiet people were murdered, and D-Chowk was drenched in their body. Many of our citizens are also missing. The perpetrators of these shootings would have been held responsible in any civilised world, but this government has not yet established a judicial system. A judicial commission acts as a ( neutral ) third umpire. Only an impartial commission can bring justice to the martyrs of May 9 and November 26 ( 2023 ). If this murder is swept under the floor, no one’s life or property in Pakistan may be safe”, he said.
He also alleged that PTI people had been mistreated while in prison, and he demanded that international attention be paid to these allegations. Our honest citizens were subjected to severe mental and physical torture while they were in military prison. According to my knowledge, three young men attempted suicide during prison. Sami Wazir’s state is a striking scripture to this cruelty. It is not a surprise what transpired regarding PTI officials like Shahbaz Gill and Azam Swati. Zille Shah was cruelly murdered, and Intezar Panjutha was treated worse than species. What kind of righteousness is this, exactly? People who leave PTI are free of all charges relating to May 9th, but those who do are subject to all forms of torture and force,” Khan said.
The former Pakistani PM added,” We haven’t obtained fairness despite constantly appealing to Pakistan’s criminal technique, leaving us with no choice but to increase our voice on foreign boards,” further threatening to take the allegations of injustice to international forums. International human rights treaties and rules apply to Pakistan’s state. I’ve instructed our attorneys to bring these issues to international forums and bring the world’s attention to Pakistan’s continued human rights violations.
Imran Khan has contacted the Lahore High Court for parole in connection with the May 9 incident, according to ARY News. Following Imran Khan’s imprisonment on May 9, 2023, there has been a significant turmoil in Pakistan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ( PTI ) supporters demonstrated their outrage through widespread protests in both rural and urban areas, prompting authorities to deploy military forces in Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad to maintain security. During these presentations, PTI followers targeted military features, including an assault on the Corps Commander’s mansion in Lahore. Eventually, Imran Khan was named as the main accused in the legal trials. Similar requirements were made during the November 26 protests, with PTI users requesting the launch of their head.
Khan also addressed Pakistan’s citizens, stating,” My information to foreigners is that democracy and human rights have been lost in Pakistan, to get replaced by the rules of the forest.” Your opposition to payments in international currency is crucial. Your Pakistani loved ones need the same rights as you do internationally.
Khan also discussed the fabricated allegations and cases he faces while urging for a fair analysis and punishment. Our state was falsely accused of bringing the Taliban back home. Terrorism did no emerge during our time in office, nor yet a year after it ended. No president in Pakistan’s history has ever had to deal with 280 circumstances, he said, adding that the same people who are responsible for the problems in Balochistan are even responsible for the current chaos. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman received this kind of therapy during General Yahya’s law, but it is now being treated similarly to me.
Also, citing a World Bank statement, Khan expressed worry about rising hunger and the impact of political volatility on the market. An additional 13 million people have “become below the poverty line,” according to a new World Bank record. Every organization, including the courts, NAB, FIA, and officers, have been tasked to operate against PTI, causing political and economic systems to crumble and instability to reach its peak. As long as there is social unrest, the economy may experience no economic growth. All of this is being done to boost the program for a decade-long tyranny. Someone who supports this illegitimacy may receive their billion worth of corruption pardoned.
According to PTI, Khan has been imprisoned for over 520 times.
