According to authorities, an 18-year-old girl who was stranded in a car with alleged kidnappers called 911 while telling them she was ordering pie.
The girl and her 17-year-old aunt met up with two people to find weed before 1 a.m. on January 6, according to a probable cause statement from the Seattle Police Department.
Timothy Armstrong, 39, and Jamir Mayfield, 23, picked the two off, authorities said.
The 18-year-old was subsequently reported to have taken a hit at a cooperative, which she claimed “made her think differently than weed usually does.”
Armstrong and Mayfield next asked the relatives to hand them both of their devices to play songs, but the 18-year-old kept her younger friend’s phone, authorities said.
She said she was using it to buy pizza, but rather called 911 at 1: 32 a. m. and told the operator she” don’t talk freely”, authorities said.
She then told the two men she wanted to leave the car so she could urinate, but they told her to” opened up,” according to police.
Armstrong and Mayfield flashed their weapons and said,” You see this? You gotta get popped”? the youth told officers.
When they parked, the gentlemen grabbed her to travel with them, but she said her father was on the phone, authorities said.
She told police she watched Armstrong, Mayfield and her niece go into a building.
The 18-year-old got her friend’s place and shared it with officers who arrested Armstrong and Mayfield, officials said.
Armstrong was found with a firearm, police said.
The 17-year-old told her aunt that they had attempted to remove her garments from the house and that the weed had been laced with acids, according to authorities.
Both men were arrested and charged with second-degree abduction. Their knocks were set at$ 200, 000.
