The US sent Tracey Ann Jacobson, a job part of the Senior Foreign Service, to the US consulate in Dhaka as charged’affaires, advertisement time, on Saturday. David Slayton Meale, who had previously served as the deputy commander of vision in Beijing and Dhaka, was nominated by Obama as the next US ambassador to Bangladesh in May 2024.
