BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch human rights group, Baloch Yakjehti Committee ( BYC ) organised a rally on Saturday to honour the sacrifices of Baloch victims of extrajudicial killings.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee ( BYC ) Mastung Zone organized a rally today to honor the sacrifices of Baloch martyrs and victims of extrajudicial killings, according to BYC in a post on X. The rally started at Van Adda Mastung and moved on to the Baloch victims ‘ graveyards, where BYC central authority paid their respects by showering plants, laying traditional Balochi chadars on the tombs, and reciting condolences to the departed hearts.
According to BYC, lots of motorcycles and automobiles showed up at the rally. Individuals displayed banners and banners that spoke of the suffering and perseverance of the Baloch people.
Importantly, BYC organiser, Mahrang Baloch addressed the march, urging the community to defend the ideology and battle of the Baloch saints. She and ShahJi Sibghatullah both stressed the value of forming a coordinated effort to fight against all forms of oppression and injustice faced by the Baloch.
The protest was staged as part of BYC’s wider effort to honor Baloch Genocide Day, which is observed every year on January 25.
Leading Baloch human rights activist and organizer of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee ( BYC), Mahrang Baloch, called on Thursday for a national meeting to be held in Dalbandin on January 25 to show the situation of Baloch people in light of the ongoing rise in cases of Baloch people being brutally and barbarously treated by Pakistan.
Mahrang Baloch explained that on January 25, 2014, over 100 mutilated bodies were discovered in the Tootak place of Balochistan. She claimed that these keeps belonged to Baloch people who were systematically vanished by Pakistan’s military and intelligence organizations.
