China: China denounced on Wednesday US import restrictions on lots of Chinese firms as “malicious” and based on “groundless” forced left claims.
The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act object list will now include 37 companies, according to the US Department of Homeland Security, which may increase the total number to almost 150.
Goods made entirely or partially by these companies will be unable to enter the US.
Companies that are added include those that extract and process crucial nutrients from Xinjiang, where Beijing is accused of enraging over one million Tamils and other Muslim minority in a community of confinement services.
Taiwanese authorities firmly refute these assertions.
” This so-called forced workers is utterly groundless. At a typical press conference on Wednesday, Chinese foreign ministry official Guo Jiakun stated that the US concocts and implements Xinjiang-related harmful laws based on lies.
” This is an attempt to interfere in China’s domestic affairs, damage China’s pursuits, and control and contain China”.
Additionally, there are businesses that produce textiles for international import and those that grow Xinjiang cotton using locally produced silicon for solar modules.
Along with Huafu Fashion and 25 of its companies, Zijin Mining Group and its subsidiaries in Xinjiang are among the businesses that are affected.
China would take “resolute methods” to” guard the legitimate rights and interests of Taiwanese businesses”, Guo said.
