Hamas Celebrates Ceasefire Deal in Gaza, and with Good Reason

On the streets of Gaza, Hamas jihadis and their backers are celebrating the peace agreement between Israel and Hamas as a significant victory for the jihadist group over Israel and the United States. And they have every reason to believe the agreement is truly a win for them.

Donald Trump, but, thinks. The incoming leader expresses confidence in the arrangement, saying,” Our historic win in November, could have only resulted in this EPIC agreement agreement,” which guarantees the safety of all Americans and our friends. I’m thrilled that victims held in America and Israel will be able to go house and reunite with their loved ones. Old Joe Biden’s State Department talking mind Matthew Miller agreed, saying:” When it comes to the presence of President-elect Trump’s team, it’s been completely crucial in getting this package over the line”.

Don’t believe for a second that the Miller and the Biden regime’s benevolence has suddenly gained appreciation for Trump and his team and willingness to embrace their accomplishments. Miller’s payment to the Trump group shows that even the Trump plan is aware of how disastrous this offer is for Israel and its supporters and the entire free world. The Biden functionaries ‘ joy in allowing Trump to take credit is almost certain in view of the day when everything explodes and Trump will be the only one left with the case. ( However, when Old Joe Biden himself was asked if Trump deserved credit, he said:” Is that a joke”? )

How bad is it? It makes a record, and quite likely more than one record, of Hamas ‘ murder of 1, 200 Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023, a very real probability. The multistage agreement’s” first stage apparently includes withdrawing from northern Gaza, which will be immediately repopulated with a million Gazans, and close to impossible to rescue or militarily press Hamas to release the remaining two-thirds of the hostages,” according to the Zionist Organization of America ( ZOA ). So, Hamas obtains virtually everything it wants in the initial stages”!

ZOA goes on to say that the agreement also includes” the release of 50 Israeli Arab terrorists serving life words.” These are basically convicted murderers who are likely to commit another Holocaust against Jews. There are precedents: up in 2011, Israel exchanged 1, 027 Israeli Arab captives for one kidnapped Israeli man Gilad Shalit. The captives who were released re-engaged in jihad-style terrorism. &nbsp,

Trump, on the other hand, is making clear claims that” with this agreement, my National Security group, through the work of Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, will continue to work strongly with Israel and our Friends to ensure Gaza NEVER becomes a criminal healthy haven.” As we build on the momentum of this ceasefire to further expand the Historic Abraham Accords, we will continue to promote PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH throughout the region. This is only the beginning of great things to come for America, and indeed, the World” !&nbsp,

Maybe, but Israel was in a position to destroy Hamas once and for all as a viable organization. Instead, its withdrawal from areas in Gaza will allow it to regroup and gather strength. According to ZOA, the agreement calls for” Israel’s complete withdrawal from the Philadelphia corridor.” ( It is necessary for Israel to maintain its control of Philadelphi to stop the flow of weapons and terrorists through Egypt into Gaza. ) This will enable Hamas to survive, regroup and strike again”. ( Other reports, however, say that Israel will retain control of a buffer zone in the Philadelphi corridor. )

Up to 600 truckloads of supplies enter Gaza every day, according to a report from Fox News on Wednesday. displaced residents will be able to return to northern Gaza by the 22nd day. Nothing wrong with that, right? Wrong. According to ZOA,” Hamas seizes” the humanitarian aid” and sells ]it ] &nbsp, for huge profits to fund terror” .&nbsp,

But surely Israel will watch the aid shipments closely and take all necessary steps to stop that, right? Nope. ” While pedestrian crossings will not require checks, Qatar and Egyptian teams will manage vehicle inspections,” according to Fox. Qatar is a strong supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, and it housed Hamas leaders both before and after the Oct. 7 massacre. What could possibly go wrong? &nbsp,

In its charter, Hamas calls for the total destruction of Israel and its replacement by a 23rd Arab Muslim state. Nothing about this agreement requires them to abandon or renounce their commitment. The deal, at best, only leaves the impression of peace in exchange for today’s appearance of peace. At worst, it empowers the jihadis. Not an auspicious beginning for the second Trump administration.
