A peace between Israel and Hamas has been confirmed by the United States and Qatar, putting an end to the terrible 15-month discord in Gaza and facilitating the release of several hostages. According to US President Joe Biden, the peace agreement will be implemented in three stages.
The second stage, lasting six days, includes a complete peace, withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza’s crowded areas, and the transfer of hostages, including Americans. In return, Israel does release hundreds of Arab prisoners, and Palestinians is returning to their districts. With the launch of the victims and the full Jewish removal, Phase 2 focuses on negotiating a permanent end to the conflict, making the ceasefire lasting. Stage 3 will see the return of dying hostages ‘ remains and the introduction of Gaza’s reconstruction.
The peace has garnered responses from different planet officials, including Joe Biden, Donald Trump, and Barack Obama.
US President Joe Biden
At a media briefing, US President Joe Biden stated that the peace and a captive deal have been reached have finally been announced. More than 15 weeks of suffering by the honest folks of Gaza and more than 15 weeks of despair for the victims, their families, and the Jewish people. The victims will soon be returned home to their families, and fighting will quit in Gaza.
Biden attributed the success of the deal to the force Israel built on Hamas with US assistance, calling it one of the toughest negotiations he has ever had.
” Those who have closely watched the conversations can attest that the path to this agreement has not been straightforward. I have spent years working in foreign plan. One of the most difficult discussions I have ever had is this. I am at this stage as a result of the force Israel has placed on Hamas, which is supported by the US. A partnership of 20 nations was also formed by the US to counteract Houthis problems, including their missile strikes in Israel. I rallied essential nations at the G20 in Delhi in September 2023 to support a vision for an Indian economic contract that would extend from the Middle East to Europe.
US President-elect Donald Trump
On his Truth Social system, US President-elect Donald Trump expressed his delight at the ceasefire news, saying,” This Incredible ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Ancient Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration did get Peace and discuss deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Friends. I’m thrilled that hostages held in Israel and the United States will be reunited with their loved ones.
Trump added that he would use the Gaza ceasefire agreement to further bolster the Abraham Accords, US-sponsored agreements signed during his first term that brought normalization to Israel’s relations with various Arab countries.
As we build on the momentum of this ceasefire to further the Historic Abraham Accords,” We will continue to support PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH throughout the region.” This is only the beginning of great things to come for America, and indeed, the World”!
The president-elect added that Steve Witkoff, the special envoy to the Middle East, would continue to work with Israel and its allies to prevent Gaza from becoming a “terrorist safe haven.”
” With this agreement in place, my National Security Team will continue to work closely with Israel and our allies to ensure that Gaza NEVER again becomes a terrorist safe haven,” according to Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
Barack Obama, a former US president,
Barack Obama, a former US president, called the ceasefire deal “good news” for the families of the hostages taken on October 7, the Palestinian civilians who have suffered for over a year, and everyone who has prayed for an end to this conflict.
The Israeli-Hamas ceasefire and hostage release agreement is good news for the hostages ‘ families, the Palestinian civilians who have been suffering for more than a year, and for everyone who has pleaded for the end of this terrible chapter.
Obama made it clear that no agreement can help those who have lost loved ones or end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that has been ongoing for years. ” That work will be much harder, and take much longer. But it will put a stop to the bloodshed, allow people to return to their homes, and get much-needed aid to more than a million desperate, hungry people”, he said.
The former president expressed his support for the deal, saying,” That’s something we should all support”. He also expressed his gratitude to Biden, Antony Israel Blinken, the US state of secretary, and all the international leaders and diplomatic missions who worked hard to come to this agreement.
