The management of President-elect Donald Trump has received mingled information about how much credit the president-elect deserves after Israel and Hamas reached a ceasefire and release from their 15-month conflict.
” What I can say is that the leader got it done”, Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday. ” We were able to work together with the Trump transition team, but the senator released a framework.”
Trump has been asking for money to fund the agreement, which includes the release of British victims who have been detained in Gaza since the attacks on October 7. He has argued that it was only possible because he won the election.
” This is something that’s been in the works for months. For times. Approach before November”, Jean-Pierre said.
But, at the State Department, Jean-Pierre’s rival, Matt Miller, described the Trump transition team as having been “absolutely crucial in getting this package over the line”.
” We, of course, bless the Trump team”, he said.
In response to Miller, Jean-Pierre once more stated that the agreement was based on the three-phase offer that Biden had suggested in May of last year.
She said,” This is someone who understands foreign policy as — I’m talking about the president,” and that he is aware of the difficulty of the situation, which she described as “adequate.” ” Have we been coordinating and working carefully with the incoming Trump administration, their move group? Well, and we’ve been very open about that, but the truth of the matter is that it took a person with the knowledge to start this conversation, to move this forward, to comprehend what conversations look like, and that’s what this leader was able to bring to the table, and it was carried out under his leadership.
Biden claimed in an impromptu speech that the offer had been” speaking as one group” with Trump lately.
” I’d even word, this offer was developed and negotiated under my administration but its words may be implemented, for the most part, by the next management”, he said.

Biden was snippy in his response when asked by a reporter whether he or Trump may get credited for the package.
” Is that a pun”? he asked.
