Bangladesh may “maintain healthy relations with India, China and the US” while “protecting our own pursuits”, foreign affairs director Md Touhid Hossain said Wednesday, reports Ahsan Tasnim. He claimed that after Donald Trump takes office as US senator, there would be no significant modifications to Bangladesh’s relations with key nations because these relations are not tied to particular govts.
” We have nothing to speculate”, Hossain said, expressing enthusiasm about soft relations with the US. He, however, acknowledged that the new administration may make notes upon assuming office, which” we will tackle consequently”.
