Daniel Chapo took his oath of office on Wednesday, becoming Mozambique’s new leader, amid calls from the country’s major opposition to remain protesting against the vote effect.
Opposition leader Venancio Mondlane, who returned from self-imposed captivity less than a week earlier, promised to “paralyze” the country back of Chapo’s opening.
