    United in snub? Obama, Clinton, Bush refuse to attend Donald Trump’s inaugural luncheon

    Obama, Bush, Clinton does not go the political dinner on January 20.

    Previous presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama will not attend Donald Trump’s standard inaugural lunch, but they will also be present at the inauguration. The Senate Committee on Arrangements held a luncheon in 1897 for President William McKinley and the Capitol customers in a history of annual luncheons. Donald Trump did not even enter President Joe Biden’s opening, which would not be his first in this way.

Michelle also missed Jimmy Cartier’s death, and her crew cited a scheduling conflict because the former first lady was said to be on vacation in Hawaii. For missing Trump’s opening, Michelle Obama’s group did not give any explanation.
