The Stacey Abrams about won the Georgia governor’s race, according to the tale that predominated Georgia politicians in 2018. Sadly, Brian Kemp prevailed, but the percentage was so near that Abrams refused to concede.

The nearby cut of that culture set Abrams up for a 2022 fight, but Kemp, then the former, defeated her well. Kemp had developed such a powerful political apparatus that, with the exception of Herschel Walker, who lost in a runoff against Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga. ), he carried every Republican in statewide races along the finish line with him.
It turns out that Abrams ‘ Tablets were allegedly crooked in 2018 as well. The biggest morality good in Georgia history is now being assessed against those organizations.
According to Ben T. N. Mause at NOTUS,” The Georgia State Ethics Commission announced on Wednesday that it would fine New Georgia Project and New Georgia Project Action Fund$ 300, 000 for its alleged use of dark money during Abrams ‘ first gubernatorial campaign.” The group “illegally raised more than$ 4.2 million, then poured over$ 3.2 million into efforts to support Abrams ‘ and other Georgia Democrats ‘ elections, organizing field offices, and employing thousands of canvassers who knocked down hundreds of thousands of doors” says the group.
The largest great in the history of the Commission was instituted today. After five years of litigation, our team prosecutors ‘ commitment to bringing this event to an end is commended. photograph. twitter.com/jhMhKmkrQc— State Ethics Commission ( @georgiaethics ) January 15, 2025

The groups ‘ ethical lapse was registering as an independent campaign committee before soliciting donations and failing to file reports for the donations they accepted for Abrams ‘ campaign. The two companies used illegal fundraising to promote the expansion of public transport in Gwinnett County, suburban Atlanta, to do the same thing in 2019. The commission hit another PAC raising funds for Abrams, Gente4Abrams, with a$ 50, 000 good in 2020 for similar dark relations.

” It’s proof that there were improper, bad actors pushing her across the finish line”, said David Emadi, executive director of the ethics fee. This assumption that these were only meant to help enroll voters is a lie is completely false.
The Associated Press ( whose far-left reporter, Jeff Amy, probably cried as he wrote the story ) reports that Abrams founded the group but wasn’t directly affiliated with it by the time she ran for governor. Interestingly enough, commercial papers list Warnock as the company’s CEO from 2017 to 2019, despite Emadi claiming that the committee couldn’t find any proof that the legislator was involved in the dark money racketeers.
According to the AP,” Lawyers for the New Georgia Project recently argued that the parties acted like other organizations and that Republicans including Emadi, who had donated to Kemp, were using their lot on the payment in a political witch hunt to tarnish Abrams ‘ political viability,” according to the AP. Of program, Democrats may blame partisanship for their social problems.

Lt. Gov. Burt Jones (R-Ga. ) reacted on X:
Stacey Abrams is a phony who allegedly fabricated information using journalists to manipulate the public to get the word out about Citizens. It didn’t function. She was embarrassed twice in a row, and now she is embarrassed that her unlawful rift is being exposed.

Kemp’s past communications producer, Cody Hall, weighed in as well:
The Ethics Commission investigation was called a “fishing expedition,” according to the New Georgia Project and Abrams ‘ staff, and it was allegedly political and carried out by the governor’s office.
Now, they admitted to *every* argument contained in the research. https ://t.co/6G9J2dVrV5

Ethics Commissioner Rick Thompson said,” I think activities like this should be criminal because of the significant effect key money can have on primaries.” Organizations that try to keep vote investing secret are terrible and deserving of our elections and voters.
How well-versed in the black money her organization was in is how much of a genius Abrams was. And how much did it contribute to her obstinate refusal to accept if she knew about it? I bet we’ll not find an answer to that question.
