Carrie Underwood, a country music star, is one of the players scheduled to attend President-elect Donald Trump’s opening in 2025.
The Grammy-winning singer will be sung” America The Lovely” when Trump is sworn in for re-election on January 20 in Washington, D.C.
Representatives for Trump confirmed Monday that the ,” Before He Cheats”  , singer will be joined by the Armed Forces Choir and , United States Naval Academy , Glee Club.
Underwood, 41, was the , headliner of” Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin ‘ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”  , on Dec. 31. The Oklahoma native rose to fame after winning” American Idol” in 2005, and she has since won six platinum albums, eight Grammys, and five CMA Female Vocalist of the Year honors. She has twice been named the ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year, which is the most of any sexual designer.
The , Village People , are also on table to do at Trump’s inauguration ceremonies next year. The disco-era singer’s later 1970s hit” YMCA” — widely , considered a queer anthem , — was important on the 2024 presidential campaign trail. The music also spawned a trademark dancing by the president-elect.
The group’s lifelong frontman , Victor Willis , ( who plays the officer figure ) confirmed on social internet Monday that they would look at some events in Washington, despite their difference in political beliefs.
The 73-year-old singer wrote on Facebook:” Our song YMCA is a worldwide anthem that finally brings the country up after a turbulent and divided campaign where our preferred candidate lost.” ” So, we believe it’s now time to bring the country along with music”.
Grammy-winning state singer/songwriter , Lee Greenwood , and musical singer , Christopher Macchio , have also been confirmed as commencement ceremony players.
” God Bless the U. S. A. The 1984 song”  ,” which Greenwood released as a patriotic song, is often played at Trump rallies.
