According to The Express Tribune statement, Khan called the judicial procedure a “mockery” of justice and claimed that the people who wrote the judgment leaked it to the internet, undermining the dignity of the legal system. PTI leader reiterated his position against the “military-backed program” and vowed to rarely accept it.
He said,” I will continue my struggle for true freedom and democracy, even if it means spending more time in jail”, while emphasising that he will make no compromise on his principles or the fight for Pakistan’s true independence, The Express Tribune reported.
Imran Khan pledged to continue fighting for republic, the rule of law, and real freedom for the people of Pakistan. He said,” We will fight till the last ball, and I will not make any deals. I will be subject to all phony accusations brought against me.
He urged Pakistan’s citizens to study the Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report and examine it to General Yahya Khan’s steps, which he claimed also led to Pakistan’s demise. He claimed that the present rulers were acting in their own passions and causing Pakistan to become a nuclear weapon.
PTI leader, in the case involving the Al-Qadir Trust, claimed that the court had further damaged the organization’s reputation and that judges who supported “military rule” and followed their orders had received rewards. He claimed that the investigation does have focused on Pakistan Muslim League-N chief executive Nawaz Sharif and his son because they allegedly sold their 9 billion ounce home to a business tycoon for 18 billion lb. This raises questions about the cause of their money and why they haven’t provided the requested receipts in the Panama Papers situation.
He claimed that original Pakistani supreme court judge Qazi Faez Isa helped with money fraud in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills situation, in which billions of rupees were pardoned. On Al-Qadir University, Khan called the establishment as non-profit, welfare-focused job like other academic initiatives like Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Namal University.
PTI leader said that he and his family, Bushra Bibi, did not gain any financial benefit from the school. He described the action as a deliberate attempt to harm his wife, Bushra Bibi, who he claimed has been the subject of numerous false accusations and who’s sentence was a result of a wider plot to put pressure on him by inflicting pain on his family, according to The Express Tribune.
He said,” My spouse is a wife with no link to politics. She has often supported me when I see these difficulties as assessments from Allah.
Regarding the government’s negotiations with the state, Khan warned that if there was no progress being made in creating a judicial commission for the May 9 and November 26 incidents, the conversations would be futile and accused the state of evading responsibilities.
Imran Khan made the remarks after Imran Khan received sentences from the 190 million-pound Al-Qadir Trust event, which included Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan, for 14 years in prison. After the ruling, Imran Khan’s woman was arrested in the courtroom.
In addition, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were asked to pay a fine of PakistRupees ( PKR ) 1 million and PKR 500, 000 respectively. Khan may spend an additional six months in prison for each violation, as well as his wife, who would spend three months in prison.
