Maggie Trakas, the owner of a TikTok-famous retro image booth in New York, has filed a lawsuit against her for acting aggressively and unsafe toward them and their customers. According to the lawsuit, Trakas reportedly threw a bottle of urine onto the users and consumers because she was so upset by the photo booth next door to her Lower East Side house.
The favorite vintage photo booth on the Lower East Side of New York City, owned by Zoe Lazerson and Brandon Minton, claims Trakas has attempted to destroy their business since it opened in December. Trakas is accused of verbally and physically threatening Minton and waiting customers by spilling a bottle of blood from her second-story windows onto Minton and waiting clients.
” This is war”! According to the lawsuit, Trakas allegedly said the day after the hall moved to its fresh, more well-liked place at 145 Allen St. on December 9.
‘ Poured a bottle of urine onto Minton’s mind’
The complaint claims that on January 5, Trakas “leaned out of her second-floor glass and poured a bucket of urine straight onto Minton’s mind, causing the blood to pour onto queuing clients.” Additionally, responding police officers and doctors confirmed that the material was urine.
Trakas was laughing and making fun of the claimants and customers while the officers and paramedics were writing reports about the incident, according to the lawsuit, which also alleges that she had before drunk and allegedly kicked Minton’s phone out of his hands.
” I threw wine on him after that day”, Trakas said, as quoted by the New York Post. ” It was not urinary”.
” It was cleaning vinegar because he’s been calling me and threatening me”, she said, claiming he referred to her as a “scum case, Karen, terrible bitch”.
She even claimed that Minton was punching his phone in her mouth, but she denied the allegations.
Allegations of’ Deranged’ actions
The lawsuit claims that the really “deranged” activities began this fortnight when Trakas called booth visitors “narcissistic r-ds” on January 2.
” I said it was selfishness on pills”, Trakas told The New York Post.
The following day, according to the petition, Minton found “frozen urine” on a seat next to the picture hall.
Trakas admits to supergluing doors to Minton’s repair vehicle, claiming it was in answer to him vandalizing her bicycle.
Stool graffiti alleged by masters
The lawsuit’s most serious incident involves Trakas supposedly dumping the remains into Minton’s planters after painting a wood table with feces.
Minton claims that one day when he arrived at his hall, it was found covered in a foul-smelling material. In the complaint, Minton says that he “observed what appeared to be feces smeared and dumped all around ]a ] planter box”. He also asserts that Trakas used” a color is filled with colored water feces” to erect a hardwood board he had recently installed to prevent her view of the booth on video footage from the night of the incident. According to Minton, they had to spend more than three hours cleaning the kiosk while wearing KN-95 faces.
The picture booth’s reported vandalism and the time and effort required to restore it to its original condition are the subject of the lawsuit’s demand for damages. The social media influencers have already been granted a temporary restraining order, preventing Trakas from interfering with or vandalizing the hall, in addition to seeking over$ 500, 000 in damage.
Trakas alleges income bribery
According to a report from the New York Post, Trakas refutes the accusations that she threw blood and that the lawsuit is an attempt by the hall owners to steal money from her prior to the prospective ban on TikTok, the system mainly responsible for the hall’s popularity.
” On the weekends and over the breaks, it has been unmanageable”, Trakas said, referring to the long lines of people waiting to use the photo hall. ” We’re talking up to hundreds of people on the line, all the same age demographic. No one nearby, never yet NYU”.
To Trakas, the complaint represents “wealthy children from Utah who showed up in 2023” attempting to “exploit” her.
” I think TikTok is getting nervous and coming after me and fabricating amazing lies,” Trakas said. This is a TikTok sensation and Sunday, TikTok may be leaving.
Both events continue to defend their individual roles regarding the alleged events while the case is ongoing.
