Previous Vice President Mike Pence is reportedly planning on attending President-elect Donald Trump‘s opening, which is just two days away.
Pence and Trump would have met recently at the funeral services for former president Jimmy Carter on January 9 and Pence’s presence would be his next this month. The two exchanged thoughts after handing one another before it created a stir on social media. Weeks later, Pence revealed what he said to the president-elect.
When he came down the aisle, he greeted me. I stood up, extended my hands. He shook my hand. I said,’ Congratulations, Mr. President,’ and he said,’ Kudos, Mike,'” Pence said.

That was the first meeting between the two since the Jan. 6 Capitol rebellion in 2021, which severed their marriage.
Trump is now making his way to Washington from his Palm Beach, Florida, home. On Monday, his inaugural address may be delivered from inside the Capitol Rotunda.
