Despite the obvious fact that it wouldn’t have happened without the authority of President-elect Donald Trump, Joe Biden deservedly patted himself on the up for the peace that Israel and Hamas are now holding,  ,

” Well, you know, this is the exact model of the package I proposed again in May—exact”, he said. And we have the rest of the world supporting it. Third, it’s America’s aid for Israel that helped them seriously weaken Hamas and its donors, and create the conditions for this offer. Finally, I was aware that the next team would need to implement this agreement, but I instructed my team to work strongly with the receiving team to ensure that we all spoke with the same voice, “because that’s what American Presidents do.”
Trump, but, saw it different.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that” This Incredible peace agreement could only have happened as a result of our ancient win in November, as it signaled to the entire world that my administration may find peace and negotiate agreements to ensure the safety of all Americans and our Friends.” I’m thrilled that victims held in America and Israel will become re-entering their homes and loved ones.

Only a week before the peace deal was announced, Trump issued a stern warning, making it clear that Hamas would experience “hell to paid” if the victims weren’t released. Unquestionably, this force had a major impact. Biden was quick to take credit for helping completely a relative of a considerable Democrat donor who had purchased one of Hunter Biden’s paintings. He hasn’t managed a considerable hostage negotiation since November 2023.

The statistics speak for themselves. Trump’s crucial part in the conversations was made clear by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.  ,

That’s not a gentle hint, it’s an obvious statement of appreciation for Donald Trump’s part in the deal that Biden pretended doesn’t occur.
Yet Biden’s own State Department seems unable to claim Trump’s position. Matt Miller, a director, admitted,” When it comes to the presence of President-elect Trump’s group, it has been completely crucial in getting this package over the line”.
He added,” I don’t know if it’s unprecedented to have envoys from an outgoing and an incoming administration sitting at the same table negotiating a ceasefire agreement of this kind, but if it’s not unprecedented, it is certainly unusual. And we, of course, thank the Trump team for working with this on this ceasefire agreement”.

The deal may not be perfect, but when we haven’t seen progress since November 2023, and now suddenly, as Biden’s walking out the door, we finally get a deal, it’s impossible to pretend that Trump didn’t have a part to play in getting this deal moving along.
