President Donald Trump quickly ended the U. S. Customs and Border Protection’s questionable CBP One apps on Monday, as the agency’s site rapidly changed while the 47th leader was sworn into office.
According to Fox 26, the CBP One software was used by the Biden-Harris management to help over 900,000 workers into the United States. The store noted that workers were able to enter the United States by using the software to program asylum claim meetings.
Following Trump’s opening on Monday, the U. S. Customs and Border Protection’s webpage was updated to express, “Effective January 20, 2025, the functionalities of CBP One that earlier allowed illegal aliens to send advance information and schedule appointments at eight south border ports of entry is no longer applicable, and existing appointments have been canceled. ”

According to The Post Millennial, workers applying for prison in the United States through the CBP One application were not required to present verified records for verification.
The House Homeland Security Committee earlier released a assessment of the software, warning, “95. 8 percent of all inadmissible aliens who scheduled appointments through the app during this time were ultimately issued a ‘Notice to Appear ’ (NTA ) and released into the United States on parole ” in 2023.

During a Senate confirmation hearing next year, Gov. Kristi Noem (R-S. D. ) confirmed that the CBP One application may be terminated on the first day of the Trump administration.
“On time one, CBP One will be shut down, ” Noem said.

During Trump’s inaugural address on Monday, the 47th president pledged to end the unprecedented level of illegal immigration that occurred under the Biden-Harris administration.
“ I will declare a national emergency at our southern border, ” Trump said. “All illegal entry will be immediately halted and we will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came. ”
